Motorcycle Selection and Pre-Purchase Inspection

Buying a used motorcycle always involves some risk. Even a bike that looks well-maintained may have hidden accident damage, engine problems, electronic faults, or frame geometry issues.

We provide a comprehensive technical inspection of your chosen motorcycle and help you make an informed purchasing decision.

What the inspection includes

Geometry inspection

We inspect the frame, forks, wheels, suspension components, and alignment of the motorcycle’s main assemblies. This helps identify previous accident or drop damage, deformation, misalignment, and other hidden structural issues.

Engine borescope inspection

We use a borescope to inspect the internal condition of the engine. This can reveal cylinder scoring, carbon deposits, signs of overheating, internal damage, and other defects that cannot be detected during a standard visual inspection.

Computer diagnostics

We connect professional diagnostic equipment to scan the motorcycle’s electronic systems and read stored and active fault codes. This may reveal faults that are not currently displayed on the dashboard or were previously cleared.

General technical inspection

We assess the condition of the engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical system, consumable parts, and other key components. After the inspection, you will receive an objective assessment of the motorcycle’s condition and potential future expenses.

Service price

Comprehensive motorcycle selection and inspection — $200.

Following the inspection, we will explain:

• the motorcycle’s actual technical condition;
• whether there are signs of accidents or major repairs;
• which defects or faults have been found;
• what expenses may be required after purchase;
• whether the condition justifies the asking price;

Transportation between Tbilisi and Batumi

If required, we can also arrange safe motorcycle transportation on a dedicated trailer:

• from Tbilisi to Batumi;
• from Batumi to Tbilisi.

The motorcycle will be properly secured and transported without the need to ride it between the two cities. Transportation is priced separately.
